The Moment You Land

Built for Budget-Airline Arrivals

Stansted is the UK's budget-flight hub — Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2, over 28 million passengers a year, and a timetable full of very early departures and very late arrivals. That's exactly when public transport lets you down: the Stansted Express doesn't run between roughly 00:30 and 04:30, so a midnight landing can leave you stranded at the rank.

We're built around that. We track your flight — delays and all — and have a driver waiting inside the single arrivals hall whatever the hour. One terminal means one simple meeting point: your name on a board, the bags taken, and straight to the car.

Your Arrival, Step by Step

  • 1

    We track your flight in

Ryanair, easyJet or Jet2 — we monitor your inbound flight and set the pickup to your real landing time, early or delayed.

  • 2

    One hall, one name board

Stansted's single terminal makes it simple — your driver is inside arrivals with a name board, with free waiting built in.

  • 3

    Luggage handled

They take the cases and walk you to the car — no hunting for the rank or a distant car park after a late flight.

  • 4

    Straight down the M11

Fixed fare, fastest route into London or across Essex. Pay by card or cash. Nothing extra at the barrier.

Stansted to London by Road

The M11 Run — A Clean Motorway Route

Stansted sits about 37 to 40 miles north-east of Central London in Essex. It's one of the more straightforward airport runs — almost all motorway — but there's one bottleneck worth knowing, and the direction you're headed changes the route.

M11 from Junction 8

The A120 dual carriageway runs straight from the terminal to M11 Junction 8 — no town centres, no traffic lights. Then it's a clean southbound run towards London.

The Redbridge Bottleneck

Where the M11 meets the A406 North Circular at Redbridge is the one pinch point — heavy 7–9am and 4–7pm. We plan around it, and your fixed fare never rises for traffic.

A406 or M25 into Town

For the City and East, we take the A406 North Circular; for the West End and Mayfair, the M25 and A40 Westway. Your driver picks the quicker on the day.

London, Essex & Cambridge

Head south for London, or north up the M11 for Cambridge in well under an hour. Essex and Hertfordshire are on the doorstep — all door to door, no changes.

Stansted to London Questions

Everything You Might Ask

How much is a taxi from Stansted to Central London?
A fixed-price taxi from Stansted to Central London with us starts at around £75 for a standard saloon, including the £10 Express Set Down charge and congestion charge where it applies. There's no meter and no surge, so you pay exactly what you were quoted. East London, closer to the M11, can be from around £55.
How long does a taxi take from Stansted to London?
A taxi from Stansted to Central London covers roughly 37 to 40 miles and takes about 50 to 90 minutes via the M11, depending on traffic. It's a clean motorway run from Junction 8, but the Redbridge interchange where the M11 meets the A406 is the main bottleneck at peak times.
Where do I meet my driver at Stansted arrivals?
Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall holding a name board, and helps with your luggage — meet and greet is included as standard. Stansted has a single terminal, so there's only one arrivals hall to find, making the meeting point simple. We confirm your flight from the flight number in advance.
Is a taxi cheaper than the Stansted Express?
For a solo traveller heading to Liverpool Street, the Stansted Express (about 47 minutes) is usually cheaper. For a group of three or four sharing, a fixed-fare taxi is often competitive or cheaper per person — and takes you door to door with your luggage. Crucially, the Stansted Express doesn't run between roughly 00:30 and 04:30, so for late arrivals and early departures a taxi is often the only option.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your inbound flight in real time using the flight number you provide — including Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2 — and adjust your driver's arrival to match your actual landing time. If your flight is early or delayed, your pickup moves with it, with free waiting after landing, so there are no extra charges for normal delays.
Is the £10 Express Set Down charge included?
Yes. For your journey from Stansted the relevant airport charge is already included in your fixed fare, along with any congestion charge where it applies and all tolls. The price we quote is the total you pay — there's nothing extra to settle at the airport or through an online payment portal afterwards.
Do you also cover Cambridge, Essex and Hertfordshire?
Yes. As well as every part of London, we run fixed-fare Stansted transfers to Cambridge, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Chelmsford and across Essex and Hertfordshire — Stansted's location on the M11 makes these a quick, direct run. Just tell us your destination for an instant quote.
