Where to find your driver at Ebbsfleet International
Ebbsfleet International is a straightforward station to be collected from. There is one main concourse, the platforms are reached by lifts and escalators from it, and the forecourt with its drop-off and pickup bays is directly outside the entrance. It is a great deal simpler than an airport.
- Standard pickup – the driver waits in the pickup bays on the station forecourt. You receive the car make, colour and registration by text before your train arrives, and the driver's number in case you want to call.
- Meet and greet – if you would rather be met inside, ask when you book and the driver will be on the concourse by the ticket barriers with a name board. There is a small extra for this, as on our airport meet and greet service.
- Train tracking – give us the departure time from St Pancras and we check the service. If it is delayed, the driver adjusts; you are not charged for waiting caused by the train.
- Luggage – the forecourt bays are level with the concourse, so a driver can help with cases straight from the door. Estate cars and MPVs are available for larger loads.
A note on Eurostar: international services no longer call at Ebbsfleet, so the station is a domestic HS1 stop only. If you are arriving from Paris or Brussels, you will come into St Pancras and can either take the 17-minute Southeastern high-speed train down to Ebbsfleet and meet us there, or book a car from St Pancras direct – see our Central London page.
Ebbsfleet to Bluewater, Dartford and Gravesend
Ebbsfleet has no town of its own yet – the Garden City is still going up around it – so nearly everyone arriving is heading somewhere close by. The three most common runs:
Bluewater – from £10
Two miles and under ten minutes. We drop at whichever entrance you want and can collect from the same bay later with a pre-booked return. Details on our Bluewater taxi page.
Dartford – from £14
Ten minutes along the A2 to the town centre, Dartford station, The Bridge, Crossways or Darent Valley Hospital. Our base is in DA1, so cars are always close. See Dartford taxis.
Gravesend – from £10
Ten to fifteen minutes to Gravesend town centre, Northfleet or the Town Pier for the Tilbury ferry. See Gravesend taxis.
Beyond those, Greenhithe and Swanscombe are from £8, Longfield and Hartley from £16, Bexleyheath and the Bexley borough from £22, Bromley from £32 and Medway towns from £28. We also run the reverse: an early car from home to the station so you catch a specific train, with 15 minutes free waiting at the door. Ebbsfleet to the airports and Dover
Ebbsfleet makes a sensible transfer point for people coming out of London on HS1 who need a car to an airport or cruise port. It avoids crossing London by road, and the M25 and A2 are on the doorstep.

Dover is worth a mention: many cruise passengers travel down from the north on the train to St Pancras, hop on HS1 to Ebbsfleet, and take a car the rest of the way.
